This charming 3-bedroom Haliburton cottage faces south and is situated in a stand of tall evergreens on Minden Lake. The lot has a gentle slope from the cottage to the shore where you will find great swimming off the dock using the dock latter. For the small children there are a few steps off the shore into a foot or two of water. This traditional cottage is a great vacation escape in cottage country all the while being close to amenities.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. It is open to the living and dining area for family gatherings to enjoy great meals, play games and watch movies on your Netflix account or on the DVD player. The living room opens onto the large deck facing the lake.
The outside is wonderful, offering several vantage points to find your perfect relaxation spot. The deck has chairs for relaxing, a gas BBQ and an outside wet bar. There are 3 kayaks for your enjoyment. However, you will need to bring your own life jackets. There is a bunkie with seating and a tv, for those teenagers to escape to, or to enjoy a quiet moment alone.
This cottage has lovely old fashioned charm while being clean and well maintained. It is perfect for a small family looking to experience and create cottage memories in these quiet, relaxing natural surroundings.

- Bed, bath and kitchen linens are not provided - you will need to bring your own, unless otherwise arranged during the booking process.
- A starter supply of tissue, paper towel and toilet paper is provided - please replenish what you use.
- You will need to clean the cottage and grounds as well as remove the garbage when you check out unless otherwise arranged during the booking process.
- BBQ Gas is provided
A Welcome Book, located on the kitchen table, contains important guest information - please ensure you familiarize yourself with its contents, such as:
- Garbage information - Please bring clear garbage bags!
- Location of cleaning supplies
- Power failure instructions
- Primary contact information
Should we have to do an emergency clean and/or remove any garbage, fees will be applied per the Terms and Conditions you agreed to.
All of our cottages are checked in between each group of Guests to confirm that everything is in order for your arrival.
- Check in time is 4pm and check out is at 12 am.
You will need to bring proper size life jackets for everyone participating in water activities.

Payment Notes
There is a deposit required of 30% of the rental rate plus the Non-Refundable Service Fee and HST upon booking and we will use your VISA, MC or Discover card for that.
The balance is due 30 days in advance of your arrival by email transfer, post-dated cheque or credit card.

Guest Comments: We had a wonderful week. It is a lovely family cottage and great location. We enjoyed all the outdoor activities. My 6 year old great nephew tried kayaking for the first time. Much time was spent on the water exploring, fishing and relaxing. The beds/pillows were very comfortable which is so important. We also appreciated the anti gravity chairs while on the dock. Had great fires in the fire pit, but had to be careful given the angle/slope of it! We were surprised there was no microwave. Instructions on how to use remotes would be great. (Guess how old I am!! LOL) The wifi connection wasn't the best. Overall we would love to rent again.
