What to expect:

* Water – Drinking water comes in through the drilled well and runs through a UV filtration system; great for drinking.
* Linens/towels – You need not bring a thing! Pillows, blankets, and mattress protectors are provided. Bed sheets, indoor and outdoor towels are provided in complimentary cleaning/linen package.
* Cleaning - Clean on departure service provided. Guests are still required to leave the cottage tidy, all food removed, garbage and recycling (properly sorted as per Welcome Book instructions) and taken to the landfill on departure using provided pass.
* There is no public boat launch on Bob Lake. A small fishing boat can be launched from the property with a 4x4 vehicle.
* BBQ Gas is provided via direct hook-up to cottage propane.
* Smoking/vaping and the lighting of candles is not permitted within the cottage.
* Bob Haven owners will allow one small-medium adult non-shedding dog on approval.
* Please be sure to watch and clean up after your dog and do not allow it to wander to the neighbour's property.
* Water levels/shoreline: you may notice that, when you arrive at the cottage, the shoreline and water level may be different from the photos you saw on the listing. That's because water levels are controlled by the Trent-Severn Waterway(TSW). Historically, this means lake levels tend to be higher in June-July and drawn down in August-September. If you would like to learn more about water levels in Haliburton and Kawartha Lakes, check out this informative page on Parks Canada's website: " What is water management?"
