OUTDOOR FEATURES
- Large east-facing deck over-looking the lake off main floor living space with lounge seating, BBQ, and 3 propane heaters.
- 4-person hot tub on deck under gazebo covering.
- Sit with the stars and enjoy converted “fire pit” wood stove at the rear of the cottage.
- Spend an afternoon down at the lakefront boathouse, with expansive views of Boshkung Lake (best enjoyed in late spring/early fall).
- 6 Adirondack chairs on wrap-around boathouse deck. Water toys: 2 kayaks for use in the early fall to late fall.

- Swimmer’s itch has been reported in this area of the lake. Recommend drying off after leaving the water close to shore due to potential irritation. Swimming out in the deep part of the lake is not an issue, this is related to the shallow water only.

- Conveniently located between Haliburton and Minden for a perfect cottage country experience – only 5 min from the town of Carnarvon with Jug City for libations and convenience store needs.

CHECK IN TIME: 4 PM, CHECK OUT TIME: 11 AM

What to expect:

* Water – Drinking water comes in through the drilled well and runs through a UV filtration system; great for drinking.
* Linens/towels – You need not bring a thing! Pillows, blankets, and mattress protectors are provided. Bed sheets, indoor and outdoor towels are provided in complimentary cleaning/linen package.
* Cleaning - Clean on departure service provided. Guests are still required to leave the cottage tidy, all food removed, garbage and recycling (properly sorted as per Welcome Book instructions).
* Garbage removal is provided - please ensure all garbage is stored in plastic lock lid garbage containers in the small shed south of the laundry house.
* Important to note: Swimmers itch has been reported in this area of the lake. It is strongly recommended to towel off after your swim to prevent irritation.
* BBQ Gas is provided.
* Smoking/vaping and the lighting of candles is not permitted within the cottage.
* The Farley Lake House owners will allow one small-medium adult non-shedding dog on approval.
* Please be sure to watch and clean up after your dog and do not allow it to wander to the neighbour's property.
