Please Note:
The cottage is accessed by a rough, winding one lane private cottage road – small cars not recommended
Shoreline is all natural, very soft bottom with water plants and sunken logs - not able to enter the water from the shoreline
NO diving or jumping off the dock due to submerged logs, the best swimming is from out in the lake
From Mid-August onward the water level drops, potentially exposing the submerged logs on the bottom at the shore. Kayaking and swimming out farther in the lake is great.

All of our cottages are checked in between each group of Guests to confirm that everything is in order for your arrival.
Important guest information:
- Pillows and blankets are provided.
- Bed sheets, indoor and outdoor towels and kitchen linens are not provided - you will need to bring your own. Bed sizes are indicated in the listing.
- You will need to clean the cottage and grounds as well as remove all garbage and food when you check out.
- Should we have to do an emergency clean and/or remove any garbage/recycling, fees will be applied per the Terms and Conditions you agreed to.
- BBQ Gas is provided.
- Smoking/vaping and the lighting of candles is not permitted within the cottage.
- Please be sure to watch and clean up after your dog and do not allow it to wander to the neighbour’s property.

Remember to bring:

Drinking water - Tap water is only used for cooking and bathing. Please bring drinking water. There is a water dispenser at the cottage that accepts 5-gallon jugs. We encourage guests to not bring single use plastic water bottles.
- Properly sized life jackets for everyone participating in water activities (pertaining to summer bookings).
- Toilet paper, paper towel and tissue - a starter supply is provided so please replenish what you use.
- If intending to use the cottage fire pit, please ensure you source firewood local to the cottage to prevent the transit of invasive species to our area.
- A flashlight with fresh batteries for those dark evenings!
A Welcome Book, located on the kitchen table, contains important guest information upon your arrival - please ensure you familiarize yourself with its contents, such as:
- garbage information - please bring Clear Garbage Bags, there is no compost program - all compost goes into household, recycling is mandatory with details in the welcome book
- location of cleaning supplies
- power failure instructions
- primary contact information.

Payment Notes
There is a deposit required of 30% of the rental rate plus the Non-Refundable Booking Fee and HST upon booking and we will use your VISA or MC.
The balance is due 60 days in advance of your arrival by email transfer, post-dated cheque or credit card.

Guest Comments: The cottage is beautiful and spacious and super clean. The road in was an adventure! The only downside for me that has nothing to do with the cottage itself were the bugs! More bugs than I’m used too but on the bright side caught more fish than I’m used to.

Guest Comments: Cottage and amenities were good, would be 5 stars with satellite tv and washing machine. (But it is a cottage) Lake is not suitable for swimming at the cottage location. Fishing on the lake is fantastic with walleye, muskie and small mouth bass. Scenery is also very good. The road to the cottage is rough but ok with a truck. We brought a 17 foot fishing boat and was ok getting to the cottage with it. The road was a bit washed out when we went but was better when we left. I might not go with a small car. Cottage is a very good size and clean. Cottage and property is very comfortable and would book it again, had a great week there.

Guest Comments: The pictures don't do this cottage justice! (Sorry...saw later that the photos have been updated.) It's very large, the lawn down to the lake is much larger that it looks on the photos, it's just all around wonderful... except for the drive up the private road. That's a bit rough. Oh...and we couldn't find the charcoal bbq that was listed. Note that once the week was out, none of us wanted to leave! A beautiful, quiet, relaxing spot.
