A playground and sand volleyball court is available for guests about 50 yards down the lane. The playground is share with the few cottages on the lane.

The owner will rent privately a 14’ springbok fishing boat with a 9.9 hp Johnson motor for $495 cash by the week only, one tank of gas. The owner will greet on arrival, please have your boating license

All of our cottages are checked in between each group of Guests to confirm that everything is in order for your arrival.
Important guest information:
- Drinking water: Water comes in through a drilled well for drinking. There is a water dispenser that accepts 5 gallon jugs if you are uncomfortable with rural water systems.
- Pillows and blankets are provided.
- Bed sheets, indoor and outdoor towels and kitchen linens are not provided - you will need to bring your own. Bed sizes are indicated in the listing.
- You will need to clean the cottage and grounds as well as remove all garbage and food when you check out, unless otherwise arranged during the booking process.
- Should we have to do an emergency clean and/or remove any garbage/recycling, fees will be applied per the Terms and Conditions you agreed to.
- BBQ Gas is provided.
- Smoking/vaping and the lighting of candles is not permitted within the cottage.
- Please be sure to watch and clean up after your dog and do not allow it to wander to the neighbour’s property.

Remember to bring:
- Properly sized life jackets for everyone participating in water activities (pertaining to summer bookings).
- Toilet paper, paper towel and tissue - a starter supply is provided so please replenish what you use.
- Firewood - If intending to use the cottage fire pit, please ensure you source firewood local to the cottage to prevent the transit of invasive species to our area. The owner has firewood available to purchase
- A flashlight with fresh batteries for those dark evenings!
A Welcome Book, located on the kitchen table, contains important guest information upon your arrival - please ensure you familiarize yourself with its contents, such as:
- garbage information - please bring Clear Garbage Bags, there is no compost program - all compost goes into household, recycling is mandatory with details in the welcome book
- location of cleaning supplies
- power failure instructions the cottage has an automatic back up generator
- primary contact information.
Hot Tub is an additional $300 per week. Guests may purchase the Hot Tub Rental option prior to final payment. Hot tub is included in 2-3 night stays in the off-season, exclusive of holidays.

Payment Notes
There is a deposit required of 30% of the rental rate plus the Non-Refundable Booking Fee and HST upon booking and we will use your VISA or MC.
The balance is due 60 days in advance of your arrival by email transfer, post-dated cheque or credit card.

Guest Comments: We had a wonderful time. The host were extremely helpful. The cottage was enjoyed by us all.Their expectation that we vacuum each level and wipe down all surfaces was what I would think a cleaning service i should do. We did our best but packing up for 10 people in the rain made for a less than pristine departure.
CCR Reply: Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. There may have been conflicting information in the notices you were sent leading up to your vacation as well as the welcome book at the cottage. Both notices would have been geared to the expectation that guests vacuum, wipes surfaces, etc. on departure to allow the cleaning team more time to focus on sanitization before next guest arrival. However, you had purchased the add-on clean on departure service which means that we would have only expected you to tidy the cottage and remove all garbage and food on departure. We could have been more clear in communicating that expectation, thank you for bringing this to our attention. - Team CCR

Guest Comments: The description of the cottage and amenities were accurate. The lake bottom around the dock was partly sandy. It had debris and weeds which did not appeal to us. However, the property and cottage were excellent, clean and very spacious. Enjoyed it very much.
